GHS05 corrosion pictogram

Corrosion pictogram (GHS05)

The corrosion pictogram (GHS05) is assigned to three hazard classes in UN GHS Rev.11: corrosive to metals, skin corrosion/irritation and serious eye damage/eye irritation. Of the three class and category rows below, two take Danger and one takes Warning. They call for three hazard statements (H290, H314 and H318). OSHA's Figure C.1 lists it for corrosives, and EU CLP Annex V gives it three entries. When it is on the label, the exclamation mark is not used for skin or eye irritation under the UN GHS, OSHA, EU CLP, Canada's HPR and NOM-018.
