Valenc authors safety data sheets for US chemical manufacturers and the markets they serve, including Canada, Mexico, the EU, the UK, and the UN module, in over 25 languages. Regional variants apply each jurisdiction's rules, and language variants add translations from a curated phrase library. Every variant is generated from the same product record, so you do not need to maintain separate records for each market or language.
Valenc 1.0 applies jurisdiction-specific rules for these regions.
| Region | Reference |
|---|---|
| United States | OSHA HazCom under HCS 2024 |
| Canada | WHMIS under the amended Hazardous Products Regulations; the Canadian HPR format |
| Mexico | NOM-018 |
| European Union | CLP and REACH Annex II |
| United Kingdom | |
| UN module | UN GHS Revision 11 is the reference framework |
Valenc supports over 25 languages in version 1.0. Hazard and precautionary statements are sourced from a single curated phrase library maintained for all supported languages, ensuring consistency across all language versions with the source classification.
Language variants use the same product record as the original SDS. Classification is completed once. The SDS text for each language is generated using translations from the curated library, then reviewed and approved before publication. Valenc includes an approval step that can block publishing, and an audit trail logs all edits and approvals. When the formulation changes, the record is updated once and all affected variants are flagged for review.
A regional variant applies the jurisdiction's classification rules and required SDS structure to the same product record. The composition and properties remain unchanged; only the regulatory framework differs. You can compare classifications across the US, EU, and Canada without recreating the product record. See GHS classification.
Additional regions will be added before December 31, 2026. To inquire about a specific region, contact us or request a demo.
Regulatory teams shipping to multiple markets require consistent hazard information in each SDS. In Valenc, this is achieved through a single classification and phrase library, with an approval step that can block publishing and monitoring agents that flag affected SDSs when rules change. See regulatory monitoring.
GHS labels use the same phrase library. See GHS labels.
