This free, fillable Word template follows the 16-section OSHA HazCom 2024 format for US safety data sheets. Each field includes a gray placeholder, Section 2 provides pictogram boxes, and every section concludes with a cross-check from our SDS Cross-Check Checklist.

How to use it

Replace each gray placeholder with your product’s information. If data is unavailable, enter “No data available” or “Not applicable” instead of leaving fields blank. After completing each section, run the cross-check, then remove all notes, the instructions page, and the pictogram page before publishing.

Include Sections 12 to 15 under HazCom, even though OSHA does not enforce their content. Customers, carriers, and other agencies still expect this information, so ensure these sections are completed.
